As a qualified Visual Merchandising Manager and experienced event stylist, I know every little detail can impact the atmosphere and shape emotions on your special day. My design style is inspired by your character, interests and the moments that shaped your journey – a chance encounter, love of travel, joyous birth, first kiss or record collection.
Together, with my team of event specialists, we meticulously curate special and timeless memories that will be etched in your heart and treasured by your guests for a lifetime.

“Philoxenia” is a state of mind and way of life rooted deep in Greek culture, so deep that there is no literal translation in English. It epitomises the ancient Greek concept of hospitality, where strangers are welcomed as friends and treated so well that they’ll want to return again.
While visiting Greece, Vanessa was taken by the concept and naturally incorporated it into both personal and professional life. Philoxenia remains at the core of our values and will continue to shape the ethos of Philoxi Styling, both now and in the future.

A DEDICATION TO MY LATE MENTOR,
Shonel Bryant was not only my good friend, but also my mentor, and a visionary leader in the events industry. Her ability to see the best in me and encourage me to pursue my dreams was truly remarkable. That was her true super power, the ability to see into the depths of your soul and lift you up.
Thanks to her mentorship, Philoxi Styling was born. Shonel was always there for me, and others around her, generously sharing her time, energy, resources, and wisdom. Her spirit is still alive within my business, as I often wonder if she would grant her seal of approval. This is my benchmark, a question I ask myself “What would Shonel do?”
Shonel's impact was profound and far-reaching, touching the lives of countless individuals through her event business, Nomad Styling, and her charitable organisation, Support Your Girls. She will always be remembered for the positive energy, warmth, and generosity that she brought into the world.
